Juzo Made to Measure - Round Knit
lowerRound (or circular) knit garments are made with a machine in a circular tubing manner, so they do not have seams along the length of the garment. The round knitted compression garments size, anatomical shape, and pressure gradient (mmHg) are influenced by a variety of factors, including knitting machines with varying diameters and numbers of needles, the number of knitted rows, the stitch size, and the compression thread's pretension.
The elasticity of the Round knit material is great for vein treatment, and early to mild stages of lymphedema, when swelling is moderate. A circular knit garment is often used for someone with a normal limb shape who has poor circulation or lymphedema.

When to Custom make a garment?
We advise if a person's measurements do not fit the sizes available 'off the shelf' in a sized garment, customised measured garments are the best option, especially due to each persons unique needs and shape, custom garments being more specifically made will often give the best results.
How do I pick the right fabric?
Selecting the right fabric type depends on the patient and their needs. What type of fabric 'stretch' they need i.e. a round knit or flat knit garment? Round knit fabrics are more elastic and will stretch vs a flat knit being made to 'contain and maintain'. Round knit and flat knit fabrics also have individual fabric types associated with them so we recommend discussing with your health practitioner or one of our friendly staff as to what option might be right for you.
