Janna is a registered Physiotherapist and trained Lymphoedema therapist with a passion for oncology rehabilitation that she integrates with her everyday practice.

Oncology Scar Specialist Course 

When: Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th November

Where: 27D Waitoa Road, Hatiatai, Wellington, New Zealand

With the objective to improve patient outcome and recovery following cancer and radiotherapy. Learn practical skills on this highly rated course including scar massage for common complications after cancer treatment, techniques for cording/axillary web syndrome, diaphragm assessment and release and gentle mobilisations for the ribs and chest. Including clinical reasoning, assessment and links to available research. By the end of this course you will appreciate how wound healing and scar formation can be impacted by chemotherapy, radiotherapy, pain and guarding patterns following cancer.
